Join Wendell —subject of Wendell Castle Remastered, the first museum exhibition to examine his digitally-crafted works—for an evening of discourse regarding his six-decade career.  In this conversation, led by Glenn Adamson, Nanette L. Laitman Director of the Museum of Arts and Design, he will discuss his continuously evolving and innovative approaches to process and the creation of his furniture.

Wendell will focus on his achievements of the 1960s, which came to define his  role as a leader in the field, as well as discussing his latest practice of combining handcraftsmanship with digital technologies, specifically through the use of 3D scanning, computer aided design (CAD) software, and a computer numerical control (CNC) machine outfitted with various routing bits and affectionately dubbed Mr. Chips.
