Wendell Castle and Nancy Jurs: Then and Now
World-class pioneer of the art furniture movement and the mastermind of mixed-media and ceramic sculpture bring their work to The Delaware Contemporary, May 5 – August 6, 2017.
Wendell Castle and Nancy Jurs, the internationally recognized art couple famed for their innovative sculptures, will display early and recent works in wood, ceramics, and mixed media at The Delaware Contemporary beginning May 5 and continuing through August 6. The exhibition, Then and Now, will showcase their flawless grasp of art, design, and technology.
Opening reception, Friday, May 5, 4 – 5 PM Art Loop evening; free for Friends of the Museum; $10 guests, The Carole Bieber and Marc Ham Gallery.
Champagne reception, Sunday, May 7, 1 – 3 PM, free for Friends of the Museum; $20 guests, The Carole Bieber and Marc Ham Gallery.
